Whatsapp, the instant messaging app has revolutionized the messaging world with outstanding features of sending photos, and videos, easy connectivity and much more.
The last seen feature makes WhatsApp unique from other messengers available which will let you know whether the person on the other side has checked the messege or not. 

Though this is a very useful feature, many people find it troublesome especially if chatting at that time has to be avoided because when you see the message the person on other side gets notified by last online time. iPhone Users:



The latest version of whatsapp for iphone has “Last Seen Timestamp” option, which willhide your last seen status in whatsapp. 
To activate it just go Settings –> Advanced–> Last Seen Timestamp and now make it Off.




Android Users:


REQUIREMENTS:

1. WhatsApp installed in android device

2. Download the required app form here


PROCEDURE:

1. Install the downloaded app and open it.


2. Click on “Block last Seen”

3. Done... Now hide "last seen" status on whatsapp and keep reading messages from your friend.

How it works?



The app temporarily blocks internet access to the WhatsApp app, thus preventing its servers from updating the last seen status.

Now when you close whatsapp your messages will be sent without updating last seen status.
