Use android device as Keyboard and Mouse for PC
Have you ever imagined that your android device can substitute or replace the wireless mouse and keyboard. This will not only be handy but also reduce the load of carrying an external wireless mouse and keyboard to and fro from one place to another. The android phone being handy easily fits into ones pocket.
You can actually convert your Android device to operate like a wireless mouse or keyboard.
This has been made possible by an
app called “RemoteDroid”.

Requirements:
PC with Java installed in it
PC and android on the same Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth.
PC and android on the same Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth.
You first need to install the RemoteDroid server app on your PC and the client app on your Android device.
Setup RemoteDroid on PC:-
1) Navigate to the link and download the “Server app”.
2) Extract the files from “RemoteDroidServer_1.5v.zip” to any folder on your PC.
3) Open the folder containing the extracted files and double-click on ”RemoteDroidServer.jar”. The server software will be launched.
Note: This being a Java application, will run on Linux, Mac OS and Windows.
4) Make a note of the IP address mentioned in the RemoteDroid software.
Setup RemoteDroid on Android:-
1) Download the RemoteDroid app from the Google Play Store and install it. Download it from here.
2) Open the app and type in the IP address that you noted down from the RemoteDroid Server app on your PC.
3) Click on “connect”.

4) Once the RemoteDroid app on your Android connects to the server app on PC, the screen of the Android device will turn into a touch-pad, as show below. The upper large rectangle is the mouse pad, while the two smaller rectangles are left mouse button and right mouse button respectively.
The green keyboard icon activates the wireless keyboard.
You can even change the mouse sensitivity and other preferences before you connect to the WiFi network.
Some apps which are similar to Remote Droid are Android mouse and keyboard, WiFi Mouse , Remote trackpad.
