iPhone 6 - expected specs, price, launch date

Whenever Apple releases a new model of iPhone the talk immediately turns to what the next model would be like or make guesses what we can expect from Apple in its next handset. With Apple we know we’ll have quite a wait – usually 12 months – before we find out for certain what the new device will entail.
To fill the void we have rumors, conjecture and leaks. Because of Apple’s incremental approach to updating its handsets – iPhone X and then iPhone Xs – it makes the big changes, the ones to design, all the more exciting. No other manufacturer makes its punters wait two years for a redesign of its flagship device – no other manufacturer, in all likelihood, could probably get away with it. But Apple does because, well, it’s Apple – it’s what it does.

Operating System iOS Upgrade

We are also likely to experience iOS 7 upgraded to iOS 8, and hopefully an extension of Apple’s iBeacons technology into a wider ecosystem of products.
Apple brought in a number of features with the iPhone 5S. One of these included the Touch ID fingerprint scanner which has received mixed reviews. Though the fingerprint scanner works well but offers little benefit at present.

Future Build

It looks like Apple will be taking its iPhone to the next level for the iPhone 6 though by building in a facial recognition feature by which iPhone will be able to recognize if its held by the owner. It will only offer certain features if it’s being held by the wrong person, and could protect vital areas such as information and the settings.
Rumors say Apple's iPhone 6 will feature a display fashioned from Sappire Glass, which means it can survive being scraped and bashed against concrete with no real damage.

Display Size

Apple has said on several occasions that it doesn’t offer an iPhone with a larger display because such devices require too many user experience compromises. According to a new report, either Apple stopped caring about those compromises or it found ways around them. The latest rumors surrounding the Apple iPhone 6 seem to suggest it will increase the screen size from the current 4-inch display on the iPhone 5 series. Apple is working on a prototype which will significantly increase the display to around 5 inches.
The Wall Street Journal said Apple is testing displays up to 6 inches, Jefferies & Co. analyst Peter Misek said the iPhone 6 will sport a 4.8-inch display, Display Search’s David Hsieh said Apple was toying with a 4.7-inch screen and a 5.7-inch screen, and the latest report suggested that Apple’s next-generation iPhone will feature a 5-inch 1080p display.

Expected Price

iPhone 6 will be far more expensive than its predecessor iPhone 5S. Rumors say that it is expected to be in the market by September and might have specs so good that we can't even imagine them.

Apple has announced the launch of iPhone 6 in two varieties: iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
The iPhone 6 will have a 4.7 inch display and 6.9mm thick. Its higher variant, the iPhone 6 Plus will comprise of a 5.5 inch screen with a resolution as high as 1920×1080. But it will be a couple of units thicker than the iPhone 6 (around 7.1mm).
Its design has been revamped with curved edges and smooth metal surface that seamlessly meets the new Retina HD display. It will be running under 64 bit architecture and will be powered with A8 processor and M8 Motion co-processor
Coming to the pricing of the iPhone 6 series, it is expected to begin at around $200.
