Install/Boot Operating System from pen drive
An Operating System is usually installed using optical media like DVDs and CDs. But sometimes it may not be feasible to boot into the windows setup using disks probably because the DVD drive is not working or, if you are using one of those netbooks or ultra-portable laptops, which does not have one at all.
One can either use an external DVD drive or a pen-drive to install windows(or any operating system) or create a bootable pen drive to install Microsoft Windows whenever needed.
The article assumes that your computer has a mother board which supports booting from USB drives. Most modern laptops and desktops support it.
Installation Requirements:
A USB pen drive (preferably formated to fat32) with a good storage capacity (4GB or more) and Microsoft Windows installation files stored in your computer.

Steps to create a bootable USB Flash Drive:
Method 1:
if its an iso files:
1) Extract the contents of the OS file into the pendrive using some kind of extractor that supports iso files (like win rar)
2) Insert the pen drive into the usb port of the system in which the OS has to be installed.

Method 2:
for any kind of file containg the OS:
1) Download the software WinToFlash
This program will transfer Windows setup from CD or DVD to flash drive The basic instructions will transfer the Windows setup program to a flash drive and install Windows on PC having no CD or DVD drive
2) Extract the zip file, then run the application WinToFlash.exe
3) Click Accept button...
4) It is recommended to switch on Wizard mode for users have no experience of Windows setup fine tuning Windows setup transfer wizard Click the "green tick" button to enter Wizard mode...
5) To access other features and advanced option switch to advanced mode (for advanced users).For now, we will use wizard mode instead of advanced mode, so click Next...
6) Specify the location of files on local Hard-drive or select CD/DVD drive which contains the OS files.
7) Select USB Flash drive > click OK
8) Check "I Accepted the terms of the license agreement" then click continue...
9) To format press OK, to quit press Cancel
10) Click OK...and wait while WinToFlash transfers Windows setup to the flash drive
11) Click Next and click on Exit. USB Flash drive ready...
